Privacy Policy

• Account information: names, email addresses, business details and the plan you choose. Payments are processed by Stripe; we don't store card numbers.
• Connected data: when a client connects Google Search Console, Google Analytics or a Google Business Profile, we import reporting data such as searches, clicks, visits, calls and reviews.
• Website visitor data (on client websites): the MET Signal script sets a first-party cookie with a random visitor ID (kept up to about 13 months) and records pages visited, the referring site and campaign tags, so leads can be linked to the source that found them.
• Leads: information visitors submit in forms on client websites (for example name, email, phone and message), plus call and text records where call tracking is used.
• Usage and technical data: sign-in activity and basic logs used to keep the service secure and working.

• To provide the service: dashboards, reports, alerts, recommendations and the work clients request.
• To send the emails and messages clients set up (for example lead alerts and follow-ups) and service emails (sign-in links, receipts, request updates).
• To check search and AI visibility: we send the questions a client chooses to AI providers and record whether the business is mentioned. Visitor and lead personal data is not sent for this.
• To bill, secure and improve MET Signal.

We do not sell personal information and do not use client data to advertise to anyone.

For visitor and lead data collected on a client's website, the client decides what is collected and why, and MET Signal processes it on the client's behalf. If you are a visitor or a lead, contact the business directly, or email us and we will pass the request on.

We use service providers to run MET Signal, and share only what each needs: hosting and database (Vercel, Supabase), payments (Stripe), email (Resend), calls and SMS (Twilio), Google APIs, and AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity) for visibility checks and writing assistance. We may also disclose information when required by law.

We keep account and client data while the account is active. After an account is closed, we delete or anonymize its data within 90 days, except records we must keep for tax, accounting or legal reasons. Backups roll off on their normal schedule.

• Account owners can view and update their information in Settings and can ask us for an export or deletion of their data.
• Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal information. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.
• Every marketing or automated message includes a way to opt out.

We use encrypted connections, hashed passwords and single-use sign-in links, limit sign-in attempts and restrict access to client data to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected clients of a breach as required by law.

MET Signal is a business service and is not directed to children under 13.

We may update this policy and will post the new date above. Material changes are emailed to account owners.
